Fall is showing off around Prescott this week. Cheer on the runners, enjoy a harvest festival, find your way through a corn maze, or grab a coffee and check out some cool cars. Here are a few fun ways to enjoy October 10–11 around Prescott.

Downtown Prescott Is About to Fill With Runners

The 48th Annual Whiskey Row Marathon takes place Saturday, October 10. With Prescott’s elevation and long climbs, it’s a memorable race to run or watch.

Start times:

  • Marathon: 6:00 a.m.
  • Half marathon: 7:00 a.m.
  • Family Dash: 7:10 a.m.
  • 10K: 7:30 a.m.
  • 5K: 8:00 a.m.

The course closes at noon, and proceeds support James Family Prescott YMCA scholarships. Downtown streets and parts of the course will be busy, so allow extra time if you’re heading that way. Registration, routes and race-day details are linked on the official Whiskey Row Marathon website.

Harvest Fest in Chino Valley

Yavapai College’s free Harvest Fest takes place Saturday, October 10, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at its Chino Valley campus. Expect fall activities, family entertainment, food trucks, program demonstrations, a beer garden and Wild West shows. See the official Yavapai College Harvest Fest listing for event details.

Pumpkin Season in Dewey

Mortimer Farms’ Pumpkin Fest & Corn Maze is underway at 12907 E. State Route 169 in Dewey. Find a corn maze, pumpkin fields, hayrides, animal encounters, seasonal food and more. Admission is required, and organizers recommend buying tickets online. Check the official Mortimer Farms Pumpkin Fest page for the daily schedule and tickets.

For another easy Saturday outing, the Prescott Farmers Market is open from 7:30 a.m. to noon at 900 Iron Springs Road. Browse local produce, meat, eggs, baked goods, coffee and prepared breakfast or lunch. Check current market details before you go.

FARM Provisions serves seasonal menus featuring Arizona growers, ranchers and producers. It’s open Wednesday through Sunday; check current hours and reservations.

Rigs & Roasts: Cars, Coffee and Donuts

Rigs & Roasts takes place Saturday, October 10, from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Uncharted Offroad, 330 N. Washington Avenue in Prescott. Jeeps, trucks, off-road rigs, motorcycles, classics, sports cars, project vehicles and daily drivers are welcome. There’s no judging, just coffee, donuts and people talking cars. See the Rigs & Roasts details.

Whether you’re cheering from downtown, picking a pumpkin or stopping for coffee, there’s plenty of fall fun around Prescott this weekend. Hope you enjoy it!
